Gary Blair Jr. is a former pupil of " Douglas academy of Music " in Glasgow where he studied Accordion as his first instrument.

In 2008 , Gary jnr won 5 first places at the UK accordion Championships for a variety of different styles of music. ( classical, Musette, polka, scottish traditional and the Frosini solo)

In October of the same year, he was placed 4th In the Junior variety section at the World Championships. He recently recorded his first CD along with his father.
